The Stow-Munroe Falls Lions Club knows how to put the FUN in fundraising!  Whether it's donating used prescription eyeglasses/hearing aids or participating in one of our fundraising projects, know that you're helping us to continue our missions here in Stow, Munroe Falls and the greater Akron area.  We are very appreciative of your support to fund our community projects and, of course, sight-impaired individuals.
Visit our Facebook page for dates, times and more details regarding the following events.

Paw Fest

Our annual Paw Fest is held on a Sunday in September at the City of Stow's Bow Wow Beach Dog Park at 5027 Stow Road.  The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm.

The event includes canine-related vendors, animal-rescue groups, celebrity judges, food vendors and sponsors who help make this a tail-wagging good day for two-, three- and four-footed critters!

Guests can visit dog vendors, purchase raffle tickets for great prizes, and participate in dog contests such as best costume or longest tail.  Bring your family, bring your pup, and come celebrate with us!

Spring Flower Sale

Always run on the Saturday before Mother's Day in the lot in front of Eddy's Bike Shop on Darrow Road in Stow, our Spring Flower Sale has become a popular outing for the community.

Our customers enjoy the quality and assortment of flower baskets and pots.  The event begins at 8:00 am until 4:00 pm - or until the last flower is sold!

A knowledgeable Lion will always be available to answer any questions about a particular type of flower and help you to select the best flower based on your likes, location and color preferences.

Race for Sight

The annual Race for Sight is a Night at the Races that simulates the excitement of horse racing through eleven pre-recorded, high-stakes video races from tracks across the country.  Guests can purchase and name horses, place bets in cash, enjoy a full-course dinner, drinks, snacks and win raffle baskets.

Prior to each race, guests place a minimal bet on the horse of their choice.  The winners receive a payout based on the odds assigned to the horse. The club splits the proceeds of each race 50-50.  During the races, raffle baskets are also given out to the guests with the winning raffle tickets.   The Race is a fun time for all attendees and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite fascinator or fedora!
